Preetha’s strong passion for teaching has led her to accumulate 14 years of tutoring experience. It came as no surprise then that she went on to complete her Postgraduate Diploma in Education from NIE immediately after completing her Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from NTU, to pursue that passion and embark on a career in teaching. As an MOE-trained teacher who has taught all levels from Primary 1 to 6 across her six years of teaching in primary school, she understands the areas students typically find challenging through their formative years. She is a firm believer that all students are capable of achieving good grades if educators can adapt their teaching methods to suit the students’ learning styles.
Fun fact: She is an adventurous person and rode a motorbike all the way from her Junior College days up until the birth of her now two year old son.

Lavelle is a highly committed and friendly tutor. She builds rapport with her students, understands their struggles and finds the method that is most effective for each student. She holds a Bachelor of Economics and has taught students with varying levels of aptitude during her ten years of teaching experience. She specialises in Maths, Science and Geography.
Fun fact: Like many Singaporeans, Lavelle is a foodie.
